It had been 5 Years since the Electrical Installation at world leading manufacturers 'Rotary Engineering Ltd.' had been certified.

We were asked to carry out the full 5 year scheduled inspection and testing work.  This is now known as an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) whereas some of you might remember it being referred to as Periodic Inspection and Testing.

As the work involved testing and inspection of every circuit in the building, this was no small task!

A plan for each day was drawn up and agreed with the client which areas we would be working on and which circuits would be affected.

Most of our tasks were carried out during normal weekday hours, although some disruptive power down work was required to be completed out of hours.

At the end of several days of testing and inspection we were pleased to find only a few minor items requiring improvement.  The installation work had been carried out by competent persons, so was in generally good order.

Following the necessary remedial work completion, our engineers returned to site to carry out the additional testing required.

Techniserve Limited is delighted to issue approved NICEIC Certification (EICR) for the fixed wiring electrical installation.

This can now be used to prove the safety of the installation and is often mandatory for insurance purposes.

A great result!  - valid for 5 Years!
